Welcome to the Megaman Directory, a fandom community, dressing room, and everything in between! Please read the rules before joining and posting! If you're a Dreamwidth Roleplayer, feel free to fill out your info in the player and character directory and join the fun!

For those who don't want to reread the rules constantly, here's a quick version of what you need to know. You are only allowed to make one post per day. You CANNOT make a roleplay related post, and you must tag your post as one of !discussion, !news, !fan content, or !other. Lastly, NO ART REPOSTS.

Rules

1. Be nice to each other. Practice common courtesy toward one another, and respect each other. Don't be a jerk, and us mods won't have to fire the mod buster, 'kay?

2. Anon is disabled to promote a sense of community among fans of Megaman on Dreamwidth. If you have an issue with another member of the community, there's a mod contact post for you to voice your concerns.

3. It may take time for us mods to update lists and directories. We have lives too! Please be patient with us.

4. NO SPAMMING. This community is a mix of RP, news, discussion, and sharing content, so we're limiting posts to one post per member per day at this moment. This is subject to change if it doesn't work out.

5. As a continuation of rule 4, we currently do not allow roleplay posts from members of the community. Only mods may post roleplay related posts. This is subject to change.

6. Please tag your posts under one of !discussion, !news or !fan content. Additional tags are of course welcome, but one of the three above are mandatory. If you feel your post does not fall under the above three, tag it as !other and a mod will re-categorize it later.

7. WE DO NOT ALLOW ART REPOSTS. If you'd like to share art that you enjoy, please link back to the artist's site. You may only repost art into this community if you can prove you have permission to do so. Self-promotion is A-OK.

8. Any questions about the rules? Comment here. Questions not pertaining to the rules but to the community's operation? Please go to the mod contact post.

You can edit your comment whenever you see fit - new muses, new contact info, etc. If you're looking for a particular roleplayer, you can browse the comments, or simply click on the player's online handle listed here. If you'd like to browse by character, check out the character directory.

Please do not reply to any of these comments so they can be edited whenever the players see fit. Contact them through their given information.

<b>Player name:</b> What you want to be known as/what you are widely known as. <b>Contact:</b> AIM/Plurk/Skype/personal DW/etc. You may list as little or as much contact information as you like. Simply PMing journals is okay if you don't want to publicly state your info. <b>Timezone:</b> For reference, but not required. <b>Tagging habits:</b> When are you usually online? Do you love to backtag? How slow or how fast can you be? <b>Characters played:</b> List them down in any way you choose, but please provide journal names. Things to remember to put in intro post or whatever
- This is a directory, DR and fandom comm all in one
- Post memes or RP prompts at will (should be spread out tho, like maybe one a week so maybe mods will perform this function)
- You can also post discussion topics, news, fanart (get permission or just link to origin if not own art), fanfic, etc
- No spamming (should set rules about that like one post per 1-3 days????)
- should maybe specify what can be posted... like maybe there should be a weekly roundup kinda thing??

Other Ideas
- Some sort of Stickied Megapost where little things that can't constitute a post in itself can be posted here like linking to artists, vids, fanfics.
- Also some sort of weekly/monthly roundup post to summarize comm activity.... if the comm is active enough lol

Activity Ideas
- have a discussion topic ready to go when the comm opens (maybe how did you get into Megaman/what draws you into the MM universe?)
- Stickied Megapost bruh

Character Directory

If you wish to search by player rather than character, head on over to the Player Directory.

Comment with your RP journals under the top levels for each Megaman character. If a top level doesn't exist for your character (there are a LOT of Megaman Characters ok), make it. Please do not reply to the comments except for the top-levels. If you have multiple journals for one character (say, you play both X and cyberelf X, or if you play younger/older/AU versions), you can include all your journals in one comment. You may edit your comments if you change journal names or add more.
